 Quick overnight stay in a nice campsite, very clean facilities, run by a friendly couple.
Probably good for families, small playground facilities and chickens. Some traffic noise from the main road.
Handy for southern end of the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, and Lydney area.

Beautiful campsite, with very friendly and accommodating owners who are around should you need any help.
The facilities (toilet/ shower block) are nice and clean, they even have a games room with a pool/ table tennis in it and plug sockets to charge your phone while playing games.
They have an electric kettle you can use and free wifi too. Large field with no set tent pitches, so you can spread out and have your own space.
You could hear the road noise at night, but this didn't bother us at all. Definitely would stay here again!

Amazing and friendly little campsite to stay at…. Fantastic for the kids as there is a play room and also a slide and tree house.
The owners are always around if you need them and the toilet/shower block was always clean, tidy and smelling fresh!
Highly recommend and definitely somewhere we want to go back to!

We stayed at this site for a couple of nights.
The facilities are really nice, kept lovely and clean. There's a nice games room for adults and kids.
The site is a lovely size for the amount of people that stay there.
The site owners, Miriam and her husband are just absolutely lovely and were very welcoming to me and my dogs.
All in all, a lovely site, great location, awesome owners

Noisiest site I've ever stayed at and that's despite being the only people on site. I know of laybys on main roads that are quieter. I was due to take a virtual work meeting and had to drive home to take it as the background noise was so loud.
Cars and trucks are thundering past ALL day and night. When the cars did stop occasionally there were what sounded like a pack of dogs howling and barking constantly ? Possibly a boarding kennels or hunt dogs? In two minds as to go home after first noisy night. Zzzzzzzzzz
Shame, as their facilities all look lovely (but we are not using them due to covid) and the owner, Miriam, is lovely.

This was a lovely little site where we were made to feel very welcome by Miriam and Tim. There is some road noise during the day but it soon stopped being noticeable and was not a problem over night.
The facilities were fantastic and well maintained. We loved the convenience of the electric kettle in the kitchen whilst the kids loved the well stocked games room and play area. Great free hot showers and wifi what works!
A good location for exploring all that the local area has to offer.

Stopped for a single night en route somewhere. Although stayed by myself I would not hesitate to bring the family back. Plenty of space to play, play equipment and an indoor room with free pool and other games. Plus a heater if its cold.
The shower and washing facilities are brand new. Also a fridge and kettle to use.
Would be a great base for visiting south wales and into the forest of dean. Supermarket in chepstow.
Owners really friendly and let eat some of the fruit and nuts growing on the trees. Little gem of a site that deserves to be successful.
