Small site with level hardstanding pitches. It would be packed with 5 units. There were only 3 units when we stayed. There was a nice view/outlook.
The toilet and shower were spotless but a bit of a walk from the pitches. I would say that the price should be a little lower as very little room outside the van for sitting out etc and the distance to showers.
Others staying there seem to use it as a stopover when travelling north or south. We will stay again as it is convenient for visiting family in the area.
Not really any walks from the site but there is a little walk around the farm to walk dogs. Convenient for travelling to all the lovely beaches and towns north of Morpeth.
Lots of shops in Morpeth incl. Morrisons, Lidl, chemists.

This was no more than a triangular scrap of scruffy wasteland with 5 tiny patches of weeds and gravel supposed to be pitches.
The drive had numerous speed ramps to negotiate.
The toilet and shower were spotless but In a building far away from the caravan on some kind of playground attraction
It may be easy to get to from the A1 but avoid at all costs.
It is a poor reflection on the caravan club that it is allowed to be associated with it.

A rather strange little site, situated at a farm park. Satnav is needed to find it initially, enter Whitehouse Farm as a POI.
It appears that you will need to drive through Morpeth if coming from the north, not really a problem. Once on the road to the farm, DO NOT take the first right turn as indicated in the book, keep going and you will see a sharp right turn; with a large unit, go down towards the farm and then back on yourself.
The site itself is tiny, OH nearly missed it, but it's not bad, has level hardstandings, decent electric points, a bin, views. We were on our own, it would be overcrowded with 5 vans.
We didn't try the farm park but it appears to be a good attraction for children.
Not really any decent walks, we went to the seaside at Newbiggin, about 10 miles away for the Hound to go crab hunting, it's ok. On the way, there is a huge ASDA at Ashington, a decent Morrisons in Morpeth.
£12 per night, which is fine, and we would use it again as a stopover.
