We used this as a convenient overnight stop although longer stays would present no problem – there are numerous National Trust properties in the area and a bus service to Bath is possible.
The CL is located a short distance from the A365. The gated entrance is off a short lane but is extremely tight for a twin axle caravan but, once on the field, the large, unmarked pitches are all on closely mowed grass. There are a number of electrical points around the perimeter of the field (which can be re-set should you trip them). A single water point is situated half-way along a conifer hedge.
The grass pitches are on a slight slope - levelling blocks may be required. A toilet, sink plus a limited selection of leaflets are in a building close to the entrance to the CL. The chemical waste is located just outside this building plus rubbish bins. There is a picnic table near the entrance to the field.
One unexpected attraction are the chickens and guinea fowl which have the run of the field. There are also a number of geese on the adjacent common and lake. Keith had a cow in an enclosure at the rear of the CL which, at the time of our visit, had given birth to a calf the week before. It was such an unexpected and lovely sight to see.
Keith was a very pleasant owner who took a pride in keeping his CL clean and tidy. In conclusion we can recommend the CL but give the entrance a wide turn-in if towing a long, twin axle caravan.

We have stayed here twice now, as convenient for visiting relatives locally. Super little cl, water tap near by pitch, waste water and chemical loo in a little building on site. All kept beautifully clean
Lovely site will stay again, well done, so peaceful, walking from site.
