Great location on the outskirts of Monmouth nr Osbaston. 20 minute walk into town, there is a bus stop outside the pub.
The site is behind the pub, access is via the car park, the pitches are well spaced and give a great view across the Wye Valley, each pitch has it's own water tap & EHU point.
There are no other facilities on site apart from an Elsan point and bins for the rubbish.
The pub serves food and local ales, log fires and Wood burners keep the bar & Restaurant warm.
Very warm welcome.

Nice location. Nice pub.
Arrived late due to a road accident, to find no hook ups left.
Decent walk into town, caught the bus back. Lovely views.
Bit of a treasure hunt to locate the Elsan point.

A good site, with hardstanings of local pebbles that do the job. Good email communication when booking. Easily accessed through the pub car park; lovely views across a valley (but not the Wye Valley, that is round to the right).
There is only 1 bin which was overflowing when we arrived but was emptied during our stay.
Value for money meals at the pub (limited menu and sit outside atm).
The whole area is lovely, there are walks along the Wye and Monnow rivers. Waitrose in the town for supplies.
£15 per night is perfectly acceptable.
