 Even though it was the last night of the season there were a few units on this superb site.
The site caters for all, tenters, statics and good hardstandings with ehu for motorhomes etc.
Really up to date, modern shower and toilet block, excellent motorhome service area, even npr on the barrier. Everything was spotless and looked after.
Beautiful beach a short walk away and a small shop. It was closed on the morning we left but I presume it stocked the essentials. The site is situated in a very scenic area.
The only negative I have is that there weren't clothes hooks in the toilet block but the friendliness of the owner made up for that.

I enjoyed staying at this camp site
There is a kitchen facility but there was no cutlery, only a microwave. could not cook there as no cooker
Location is beside a beach on the middle of achill
I will be back one day

Cracking campsite for Tents (also Statics and Caravans) in a beautiful spot, really helpful and friendly owners too. Electric available and Dog Friendly - unfortunately there were a few other animals (Midges!) when we went in May/June :)
The beach is literally across from the main gate over the small dune and the location is perfect to explore Achill. Facilities are good, with a small campers kitchen and new shower/washing blocks - all of which are a welcome 'comfort' when camping in Ireland.
The Pitch we had was part of the 'Meadow' - with close electric and only a small slope at points - but amazing views.
I would recommend bringing supplies depending on when you arrive and how long you are staying, as the supermarket is a drive and most of the shops shut a earlier (especially at weekend!) than at our home in Cavan.
This is our new fave camping site in Ireland and we are looking forward to returning ! Thank you!
