Monica Tonnoni who runs the site was very helpful and friendly. Free Wifi-we were given passwords for each device but the Wifi was weak. Old fashioned, unheated facilities outside.
Small shower cubicles with plenty of hot water and good wet/dry separation. No toilet paper, soap or paper towels /hand driers, therefore you need to take all that with you when you use the facilities.
Outside washing up facilities. Only one block open in low season. Washing machine can be used on request a token for E5. However, there are plenty of washing lines.
Hand washing (clothes) facility only has cold water so you need to take a bowl to fill up under the hot dishwashing tap.
Grass and mainly uneven pitches, quite open surrounded by fields so when the wind blows it’s quite chilly.
Electricity supply 6 amp and tripped quite a lot.

I give good reviews on the sites we like but it's worth noting the 'faults' as well. We love this site but it's a long way to get to with a touring caravan, for accessibility from UK,
toilet blocks are basic, no loo seats, small showers and not enough of them but cleaned daily and all work, apart from the pool no 'facilities' on site, used to have a pizza shop but now just a couple of vending machines near pool,
private shop across road but can be expensive compared to supermarkets and limited range though all basics available,
a few washing machines on site, this year everyone complained of the heat and so many people moved on after a night or two, it was only about 33* but the humidity was very high, our dogs were under stress and we took them to a nearby river (Isonzo) daily to keep cool, most pitches are shaded by the trees but the same trees cut down any cooling breeze so comfort from conditions poor, lots of mosquitoes so have plenty of repellent handy.
Close to local monuments, places to visit, short drive to supermarkets and not far from main highways so location good. Will go again, would recommend but be aware it's not like a uk site.
Campers often plug into wrong hook up points and no clear pattern for parking vans etc.

Our favourite destination site in Italy. Easy to get to from Austria (our usual route) and fairly easy roads and access around and onto the site. Pitches laid out clearly, all grass and big enough for awning and car.
Unlike UK, tourers are put sideways onto the pitch instead of lengthways. (Hope that makes sense). Hook up points have six plugs (think that's right) in each box and sometimes a camper 'pinches' two.
Wires stretch across the back of pitches and sometimes fuses blow as it's only 6amp electric (seems more like four) and struggles with UK van electrics and Dutch fridges in trailer tents.
Toilet facilities basic but very good, two toilet blocks on site, same for dish washing and laundry rooms. Small 'park' area for kids to play. BBQ area for campers under a giant gazebo. Lovely outdoor pool, not heated but don't need it, can get crowded. Shop outside entrance, sells all you need, 10min walk to Main Street with small supermarket.
Nice restaurant next to site but try near the Basilica as well. Dog walk field next to site but keep to edges as main field used for crops. Drive to the Isonzo river for a swim, freezing but great fun in the summer. Grado a short drive away, worth a visit. Italy is fantastically child friendly and even dog friendly but dogs not allowed on most beaches.
Lovely site, cool under the trees, can be noisy but really good fun. The owners are a great couple and we highly recommend a stay here if you get that far. Has some 'cottages'/statics to rent.
