 I recently stayed at Green Meadow Campsite, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, this site offered a peaceful retreat with stunning views of the rolling hills.
The facilities at Green Meadow were top-notch. The washrooms and showers were always clean and well-maintained. The site also had a small but well-stocked shop where you could purchase essentials and local produce.
Pitch Quality: Our pitch was spacious and level, with plenty of room for our caravan and awning. Each pitch had access to electric hookups and was surrounded by well-kept greenery, which added to the overall charm.
Amenities: The campsite featured excellent amenities, including a playground for kids, a dog-friendly area, and a communal fire pit where guests could gather in the evenings. There was also a beautiful walking trail nearby that was perfect for morning hikes.
The staff at Green Meadow were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any queries or provide local recommendations. Their hospitality greatly enhanced our stay.
Overall, our stay at Green Meadow Campsite was thoroughly enjoyable. The tranquil setting, excellent facilities, and welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable trip. I highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped place to stay.

We were introduced to this site by my wife sister who lives nearby. This was for a family gathering and we have returned a total of three times for 2 night visits during this year 2019. My sister-in-law stumbled across it and you really do have to stumble across it as it’s in a very remote location. This, however is part of the beauty of this site.
The owners do a very good job of developing and keeping the site in good order. It has electric hook up and water to each pitch but unfortunately no waste drainage and there is as yet no toilet block although the owner is working on this. So if you have your own toilet, this is an ideal site. There is a toilet at the spotted duck café just across the road.
The site has such a wonderful feeling of peace and serenity. It is very tranquil and a good spot to relax and unwind for a few days.
I would fully recommend visiting before it gets too busy as it inevitably will.
Give it a try. You won’t regret it.

One word. PERFECT! Lovely site, friendly staff, our first little camping holiday with our baby and it was brilliant.
Can’t thank the owners enough.
We will 100% be back for a longer stay next time.
