 Very convenient for Holy Island.

Toilets and showers very clean and nicely appointed.

Not close to shops etc so come prepared to be self sufficient, but it did everything promised for a very reasonable price.

Well what do I say the site is basically in the farm yard along a long track, toilet is in a building clean but a little strange, pitches are very close to each other originally staying 3 nights but only did 2 as we struggled for walks and transport as we don't have bikes or a car.

Owners don't live on site but have someone looking after it (never saw them)

We managed to find out about visiting Holy Island we caught a bus from the bottom of the lane stayed on Island for the day which was nice (walking and pubs, cafes )then caught bus back be careful only one a day due to tide times. Walked to Barn at Beal (which is also a campsite ) and you can catch the bus from here.

Not a lot else there. My advice research before you go but as a stop off for Holy Island not bad.

On saying that I think it is having some improvements done in future by its owner who called by to do some work on the empty farm house whilst we were there.

Lovely site, very easy to find, private

Drive to it but well kept. Covid precautions taken, toilet available, clean tidy, level hardstanding, 5 mins from the lindisfarne road, we cycled across from site and a sustrans path there to avoid busy road. Beautiful walks and not far to berwick on tweed which is well worth a visit.

Not a site if you want a good view as it is in farm yard but clean tidy, well kept, all facilities working, loo, chemical disposal, drinking water, easy check in and booking. I rang, paid by card, notice board told us where to go, B&B available if issues occurred but no one bothered us. Next to railway but did not notice noise. Great base site. I managed to sit and read in the evenings without noise issues. It was ideal for us.

 Great little campsite.

The proprietors were very friendly and really helpful.

Near to Holy Island which is beautiful, Bamborough and Berwick upon Tweed. Lots of gorgeous beaches.

Just over a mile or so from the causeway over to Lindisfarne the site is along a farm road (well surfaced) just under a mile from the main road. Each pitch is hardstanding with a grass area and electric point. There is one fresh water drinking tap by the middle pitch.

The site is an L shape around a barn with high hedges surrounding, no views but plesant area with planting and well cut grass etc. It is a working farm so some passing tractors and noise from farm machinery at times during the day.

Around the other side of the barn is a guest house, to the side of this is a chemical disposal. There is one toilet in a farm building, well designed and well kept, immaculately clean with toilet paper, soap, towels etc.

Back along the farm track to the road there is a wide footpath up a short hill, then there is a footpath off the road behind the hedge down to the causeway.

There is some rail noise as the main railway North passes close by, have to say it wasn't enough to bother us at all.

We telephoned in the afternoon to check they had a space, paid by debit card over the phone.

All in all for £14 including electric we thought it was a great little site and would recommend.
