The site is well signposted on the final approach from the A1. Take care when leaving the road to access the site as you turn sharply and then cross the cycle path which runs along the top of the embankment. We parked just before the restaurant which houses the reception.

Check in was easy. Good English spoken. They do not accept the CC card. We paid €30 a night in mid May. Access to the camping area is via a gate with a pin code.

There are a range of pitches but most are on the small side. Ok for a motor home but a bit tight for a car and caravan. We arrived before lunch and were lucky to able to drive onto one of the four decent sized pitches near the sanitary block.

The toilet block looks to be very recently renovated to a very high standard and very clean. Wash basins and showers are excellent with plenty of hot water. The only downside is that the block is not heated. In the middle of May it was a bit chilly so you gritted your teeth and got on with it.
