Booked this site a few weeks ago for ourselves and a friend for 6 nights and 5 nights respectively. Payment required up front.
There were not too many reviews but liked the look of the description and the location was just where we wanted.
The site is part of a small holding so we expected the usual things you might expect. However either side of the site there are 2 other smallholdings/ farms which were very close and very noisy.
We had 2 dogs and there was nowhere really to go for walks.
The pitches were hardstanding with room only for the caravan.
Either side the grassed areas were very wet /muddy due to being at the bottom of a sloping field.
The pitches are fully serviced, though the electricity/water stacks are sited in very awkward places on each pitch which makes it difficult to reverse onto the pitch.
The chemical emptying point was very clean and efficient.
Whilst we there one day they had a big bonfire that continued to smoulder and give off smoke all day. And another one was grass cutting day as we were sitting out enjoying the sunshine, it was a noisy and lengthy process.
I had confused the length of stay for our friend. She only wanted 4 nights and stayed for 4 nights whereas I had paid in advance for 5 nights. No refund was forthcoming which seemed rather petty when we had paid £220 in total.
In conclusion and trying to be positive, would say the site is OK and decent value at £20 per night.

Wonderful, well kept farm campsite.
Very quiet, covid safe, very friendly owner,
Firepit and logs were needed as evenings were chilly.
Have been here 5 times. Love it👍👍

This is our second stay at marton house and its a little gem,
The owner felicia is very attentive, brings along a pack of information with walks, local pubs, takeaways etc,
There is a small shelving unit with fresh eggs, pit wood etc,
Will def be returning ;) thankyou.

This is a lovely site. Easy to get to. Only 5 pitches which have loads of space. Water and hook-up on each pitch. The owner, Felicia, is very friendly and helpful.
The site is very quiet with good views of the setting sun. Fresh eggs available that are delicious. Also various home made jams and most welcome was a cream and jam scone pack. The scones were still warm and to die for.
All in all I would have liked to tell nobody about this site and kept it to ourselves but credit where credit's due I had to give this site 10 out of 10.
