 Set in a lovely area clean and tidy all around.
Had one neighbour for each night we stayed.
Interesting conversation with local friendly fishermen about the catches they caught.

Recently improved community run site which contains self catering hostel (pre-book only), grass tent pitching area and 4 hardstandings for motorhomes / caravans.
You cannot pre-book the hardnstandings, just turn up - both days they were taken by 2pm so suggest you need to be there before mid-afternoon. Each pitch has electric and water and wifi is included in price with codes shown on posts. There is a chemical disposal by the hostel, there isnt a grey water dump.
There are two toilet / shower rooms in former out-buildings, both old but very clean - shower takes 20p coins. There is a also a utility building with washing sink, washing machine, dryer and microwave.
From the site its a 30 minute walk down to Papil which has a small museum or the same down to East Burra where there is a couple of craft shops. For food the nearest shop is at Hamnavo where the community shop is really well stocked. Sclloway is approx 20 minute drive, a good afternoon out at the museum and castle.
Whilst we were there several locals were working on boats and we found it to be a really welcoming and friendly site. There is an honesty box system for payment, I believe it shows £16 on the board outside but the price on the envelops was £20.
