Lovely quiet peaceful site. Kept nice and tidy by he owners.
Sitting watching the deer and listening to the birds was very relaxing.
Yes you have to use your own facilities with the EHU but as a no dogs site we felt it was worth it as we have had holidays spoilt by noisy pets.
The owner was friendly and made us feel welcome.
It was a good base for visiting the area. Supermarkets, shops and pubs all nearby.

Lovely little site with beautiful peaceful surrounding close to local amenities and a short drive to alton towers.
Jane was so helpful, friendly and courteous.
Will definitely be back.
A great place to camp should you only require minimal facilities

Perfectly maintained, secure and very peaceful, ours being the only unit there.
Never saw owners, but we've been before and knew what we wanted to do and visit during our stay.
We were aware that no dogs were allowed, and own sanitation was required, neither of which was a problem for us.
Thankfully, warm and sunny weather, adequate TV reception and mobile phone and internet signal.
Very good farm shop near Rocester.

Lovely quiet and relaxing site for a short break.
Would come back again. Just be prepared to take your own rubbish away.
Good to see the deer next to site

We really liked Manor Grounds Campsite. It’s well maintained (with good-sized pitches), private and on the edge of a lovely village, Marston Montgomery.
There’s a very nice pub, The Crown, about 5 minutes walk away.
During our weekend we visited the Shugborough Estate and Bolsover castle, which were easy to get to from Manor Grounds.
We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Highly recommended.

Really pleased we managed to get 6 days at this lovley site, great size pitches, was beginning to think we wouldn’t get away as everyone was fully booked as sites began to open after lockdown but UKCampsite saved the day with 2 in the area we were looking for.
Pub up the road with social distances in place and serving takeaway meals,
Lovely farm shop a couple of miles away at Denton and a nice short walk round a lake at jcb headquarters a couple of miles away

Lovely quiet CS. Water and Grey waste at some pitches.
Good security. Well drained and regularly mown grass.
Nice food at The Crown just 5 min walk.
Great place and we will return.

Just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay at Manor Grounds. This is exactly what a CS should be. Great peaceful location surrounded by trees, lovely pub less than 5 minutes walk away (and downhill on the way home).
Nice spacious pitches on the edge of the field which has plenty of room for playing and relaxing. Children and adults were fascinated by the deer in the next field (2 had just had fawns when we visited but we didn't see them).
Thanks to Jane & Phil for the lovely welcome - they were great hosts, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. We will definitely be back.
