Lovely site, access to lots of walking and cycling routes. The coastline here is stunning.
Also lots of regular trains from Carnforth to coastal towns, Lancaster and beyond.
£1 for showers when we visited. No washing up facility and we thought the showers could have been cleaned more often.
Otherwise great location.
Need to be caravan and motorhome club members to book in.

We actually stayed for 3 nights on our way to Ireland, and for 2 nights coming back. The site is easy enough to find, use the CAMC directions and come through Carnforth, not via Warton, very narrow roads.
From the M6, travel to Carnforth and turn right at the traffic lights in the town centre, towards Warton. In Warton village, just after the road narrows sign, turn left into Sand Lane (signed on the wall opposite), where Sand Lane bends to right, go straight on (no through road), the site is on the right with easy access through a gate.
The site itself is fine, typical farm CL, plenty of space round 2 sides of the field. Sky tv is easy to get. The tap is over by the gate to the house and garden, the bins by the house, a bit of a trek.
The immediate area is interesting, near Warton Crag, Leighton Moss and the coast. Try Jenny Brown's Point where there are good walks and rock formations. There is also a good walk right from the site, along the estuary.
Carnforth is a nice little town, has the Brief Encounter experience, Tesco (right at the lights), an Esso garage a bit further along the same road (A6), a Co-op which you will see going to the site, Lidl, Booths and a caravan centre.
We would use the site again if in the area. £14 per night which is fine, cash or cheque.
Good for a stopover or a longer stay.
