Alright, I wrote the last two reviews, so you get the idea. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy our stays here - it suits us down to the ground.
There may be kids on the site, and kids can make noise, but after dark all is tranquil and peaceful. New for this year is a new camping field, and more fields opened up for people to explore, and dogs to run.
The meadows are a delight, abounding with flowers and butterflies.
Martin and his family work hard to ensure that everything is as it should be, nothing is too much trouble. It is pricey, but you get your own toilet, shower, washing up facility, large shelter, substantial picnic table, fire pit all on a pitch which could hold 4 extra large tents.
The only real pain is having to wheelbarrow all your kit down the hill from the carpark on arrival, and then back up the hill when you leave. Serves us right for having so much kit.

Well, so much has changed, what with the Covidiocy and all! The approach is much improved, much smoother, no potholes et al. I would still think twice about the lambo though.
The main field still has only 10 huge pitches, and each pitch now has its own composting toilet, shower, and washing up facility, to comply with "the new normal". How very civilised!
The shelters have new solid roofs, and the same solid furniture, and there is a fire pit. A bagful of wood may be purchased from the site, along with kindling and firelighters.
This is all still run by the friendly, affable Martin, who should rightly be proud of all the hard work he has put in. There is a central mown area with a set of goalposts, and a huge fallen oak which adventurous children can climb, but no play area with swings and the like(encourages exploration, in my view).
Nature abounds; we saw Red Kite, Buzzard, toads, more slugs and insects than it was possible to count, and in the evening there were numbers of bats flitting around.
The pizzeria and ice cream parlour on site are in operation, labouring with a serene elegance to provide scrumptious vittles to one and all.
The site is tucked away just south of Whitland, and conveniently located for Carmarthen, Pendine, Tenby, Haverfordwest, and Pembroke.
I recommend it to you most highly. Book now for next year, I have already done so.

Do not take the Ferrari or the Porsche, unless you need a new sump anyway. The approach is along a farm track with some eccentric camber, and a relaxed approach to potholes.
There is a car park, as there are only grass tracks around the sloping field, which would be interesting in anything not 4wd. There are good solid wheelbarrows to trundle your gear to and from the car.
There is a well built shed housing the washing up facilities, and more recycling bins than I thought possible, along with an honesty shop for your logs and firelighters. Alongside this there are two showers, and two composting toilets.
These always sound worse than they are, and one quickly becomes accustomed to the lack of flushing. As a result the silence is DEAFENING! No sea views, and I did complain to the management about this but they were unable to change things around at such short notice. Martin, the head honcho, is really helpful.
But seriously, a 11 acre field with 10 pitches? The plots are spaced so far apart that they each have their own postcode. A canvas covered frame with a picnic table, and a fire pit.
If we hadn't booked a week with two of the worst gales in the last 5 years, it would have been the most relaxing, quiet, pleasant holiday. Oh, and don't forget the scrumptious ice cream at the parlour in the farm!
