Campsite not as advertised. Parking was on a green patch outside main site. No beach or BBQ area. Had to crawl through fence to get water & hook up. No WiFi. Couldn't put awning out.

What an amazing facility for Easkey!
Quick response to our request for booking with all necessary information.
Spacious washrooms and great to have a room to cook and eat in out of the wind and rain.
Very happy with this facility, thank you!

Good location in the village with nice facilities but there was a problem that no warden is on site.
Children were using the toilets for hide and seek, locking themselves in the cubicles,
Dogs were roaming freely with no mess being cleared, people were plugging in to random pitches in the wrong place.
Somebody on duty on the spot would have eliminated all these things I think.

Great peaceful and clean site. Toilets, showers and kitchen area spotless clean. There is a pub right across the road and the beach is 15 min walk away.
There is a lovely walk by the river that leads to the beach.
Pauline was very helpful and very pleasant and friendly to deal with and had great local knowledge.
Will definitely stay again in the near future cause by doing so you are helping the local community.

A perfectly acceptable site run by the local community. Easy to find, in the village look out for the cafe on the right, the site is just past here on the left, if coming from the north.
Good access, upon arrival, phone one of the mobile numbers which you will see, someone will soon arrive, have your cash ready, €23 per night which is fine. Then you will be given the number for the security barrier. The pitches are hardstanding, a bit small, but adequate.
Good facilities, showers, wcs, laundry, campers kitchen, rotary drier.
A small convenience store in the village, better shop and fuel near the junction which you will see, coming from the north.
Easkey beach us not much, but there is a good enough walk down the river to the sea, starting on the far side of the bridge.
Drive north and take the first coast road and you will come to a grassy headland, next to this is a rocky area with great fossils. Further north, take the next coast road to some beaches which have wonderful rock formations next to them, and a nice pub. The coastline to the south is not very good.
A useful site as a base, and the area is famous for surfing so would be good for this also.
