 Basic facilities but very clean. Extraordinary views.
Pitches are large and adequately level for a motorhome not to need any chocks to level.
Sara the owner is friendly and very helpful.
Sink block has lots of information about local attractions. Very quiet and a lovely place to relax.
Short drive (Chesterfield) to stock up on essentials and site sells potatoes (just being harvested) and eggs.
Definitely be back soon.
Could have done with a grey water drain which is easily accessible for a motorhome.

Ideal location for walking and cycling, not far from Linacre reservoir and plenty of woodlands.
Pitches are well spaced even though there are 6 hardstanding, our only gripe is the fact that you are allocated a pitch via a photo, only been allocated a pitch twice before in over 20 years camping!
But maybe a little stake with the pitch number on would be a better option, causing less confusion.
At £15 a night with electric we found this very good and good value. The washing shed was adequate though not used by ourselves, the information pamphlets need updating.
The toilet looked clean, again not used by us, the blue waste was suitable.

Fantastic site, staff are brilliant and extremely accommodating.
Would return if visiting the area and would highly recommend.
Amazing views all around as well.

Great site, friendly owner,
Facilities are great and clean.
Very peaceful with only a handful of pitches.
Stunning views of Chesterfield and the countryside.

The site was good value for money in a quiet location.
Good views and local footpaths direct from the campsite.
There was a clean, spacious toilet facility with heating. Although there were no shower facilities, but we were aware of this prior to booking.
2 pubs within walking distance.

A great little site with extensive views over farmland and towards Chesterfield. No shower but spotless toilet. Walks directly from the site and on a bus route to Chesterfield.
Perfectly placed to explore the Peak District with Chatsworth House, Bakewell and other villages within short driving distance.
Would highly recommend for the price.
