This campsite is well laid out with marked, separated pitches and plenty of shade from mature trees.

It is a Camping Municipal and the office only seems to open at the same time as the town swimming pool next to it. Campers can use the pool when it is open but we visited during a heat wave so, not surprisingly, it was crowded with townspeople as well as campers.

The 'sanitaires' are adequate but could do with some maintenance. The campsite is within walking distance of the interesting town of Montsalvy with its historic buildings and modern 'Spar' supermarket.

This is a good centre for exploring the region.
