Is this the most expensive CL ever?
Whilst there is a nice sea view, you are just staying in a corner of a Car Park! There are 5 bays laid out in the corner of the car park, unfortunately the painted bay are only about 5M long so most MoHos will overhang the bay.
The reception area is modern and located above the shower area, staff are friend, y and helpful. The facilities are clean and modern and are shared with the Marina clientele, the bin locations are a short walk away, the grey and black waste are a bit further.
There is a nice restaurant on site.
Unless you are into yachting, it is only really suitable for a one night stay.
At £40 a night this was the most expensive site I stayed on in a six week tour of Scotland. 200M away there is a car park which is free for overnight stops, admittedly there are no facilities there.

Beautiful location but the Yacht Haven need to work harder at ensuring this is a proper cl and not just the corner of the car park fenced off.
Lovely benches have been put on the front of the pitches but we had to endure members of the public sat there for over an hour within feet of our windscreen.
Despite very good facilities, a lovely restaurant, excellent walks to Largs and helpful staff, this was a very expensive cl and probably needs the club to check whether it's up to scratch.
That said apart from the 'pitch visitors' we enjoyed the location and views.

Can’t argue the view is gorgeous but to be honest it’s just a carpark. We did go to reception and said it wasn’t for us but was told too late nothing they could do. Facilities are spotless and Scott’s restaurant food lovely.
No privacy on pitch while sitting enjoying our food out side people passing right through where we were sitting not batting an eyelid. Dogs off leads approaching too so couldn’t Let our own dog sit tied up on grass.
We had a massive motorhome next pitch not even a meter between us. They did apologise but was no fault of there’s as the vehicle took over 2 spaces. They next day they did move when another one left.
We did enjoy our stay there once we knew how it worked. On our last day they cornered off the area and put signs up saying it was a CL site if this had been done at first would’ve been much better. You couldn’t even get out the carpark some days.
Nice walk into Largs and a bus stop just outside Marina. Would be okay for an overnight stop but not to stay for any longer. The council carpark next door had motorhomes parking all night.

The pitches face the sea so the views are beautiful. The restaurant is lovely (you need to book) and the food very good. There is also a snack bar/takeaway where you can buy essentials.
I wouldn’t say the site is child friendly, although there are things for children in the park. I can’t rate facilities as we used our own but apparently they’re spotless.
The walk into town is along a proper tarmac’d path through a big park and along the shoreline, so level walking.

Stayed here for 1 night it was a great stay. Warm welcome on arrival. Toilet block spotless. Views amazing.
The restaurant on site looked good we only had a drink. Short drive into Largs itself.
We will definitely come back.
