 Set high in the hills surrounding Mutriku and offering some views of the sea …
A medium sized site with good pitches at the top, around the reception and bar area, which saves any negotiation of steep tracks to the rest of the site.
A considerable number of permanent installations, some of which are pretty ancient.
Very clean ablutions with seats and paper, plus shower cubicles complete with basins and mirrors … an unusual bonus.
A good sized bar … breakfasts and pizzas are the limit of the food trade.
Wifi in the bar area.
The bar area includes an extensive indoor section and an open terrace, plus a covered terrace section.
The site also offers indoor accommodation.
Set on the coast, half-way between san Sebastian and Bilbao, it offers a good base to explore that part of the Basque country.
If you can get a good pitch at the nearby (half mile) Galdona campsite (has a reasonable restaurant and a more open feel to the site; you may prefer it. No difference in price.
