Another great holiday spent at the farm. Noticed since out last visit that chem. Waste and bin area have had revamp by having the flags relaid. Nice touch.
What we like about the site is your straight on to the off road cycle track without leaving the farm, ideal if you have young children or cycling back from the pub after a beer. Fresh eggs are available and you can ask Barbara or John to collect your daily paper for you to read over breakfast.
Plenty of hand sanitizer in evidence and bin area and taps cleaned daily.
Highly recommend you will not be disappointed.

We chose this site for its location on the High Peak Trail and also for its remoteness.
We arrived in very wet weather as the 5th van on the relatively small field. Barbara was very apologetic that her best pitch was taken but, as we have no motor mover on out T/A van, would not have wanted that one as it would be best to pitch nose in. Barbara then went and got some custom made levelling blocks so we could get the van level. This was a nice touch and she even assisted with pitching in the very wet weather.
Fresh water, recycling and elsan disposal are all very good and all family members were very friendly.
The site is very good value and a credit to the CL network.
We had a fantastic 10 days and would gladly return.

We have just had a wonderful 3 night stay at Brundcliffe Farm. We decided to go to Derbyshire for the Bakewell Christmas Market and so glad we booked this CL site.
From the moment we booked, Barbara was very friendly, She did tell us that when we arrived that she may not be their but said her son who works the farm would see to us.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a nice farmer who was very accommodating and friendly and showed us a choice of pitches we could choose and where everything was.
We were very pleased with the pitches. The site does not have showers or toilets but this is a CL site and we love using our own facilities in our van.
While we were pitching up Barbara arrived and come and greeted us, a very friendly lady and again made us feel very welcome.
The site is directly on The high peak trail and you can gain access to it from the CL site. Its in an Ideal location for Walkers, dog owners etc. We loved it.
There are a few local pubs nearby where you can get a meal or snack. Buxton, Ashbourne and Bakewell are not too far away by car and this site is in between all three towns.
We found the location superb. The CL site is very well kept and has great views across the farmland, we look forward to returning as we want to explore more of this beautiful area and great campsite.
A big thank you to Barbara and her family for making us feel at home. Danny & Nina
