This CL is our go to place. Great location to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area with superb and spotlessly clean shower and toilet facilities.
New Quay is approximately 4 miles away with a great walk around New Quay Head where you can catch dolphins playing in the sea followed by the best fish and chips we have ever come across in The Lime Crab.
If you want a site where you can walk to the nearest pub this is not the one for you but if you want to enjoy it for its coastal location and great walks in the area then you cannot find better in our experience.

In nearly 20 years of caravanning this is one of the best CLs we have stayed on. The pitches are well-spaced along the top of a sloping field, where the grass is mown as a lawn with the clippings collected.
You do need levelling blocks, but these are thoughtfully provided at each pitch. There are lovely views out to the sea. The substantial fenced dog walk, immediately adjacent, is a mown ‘maze’ between shrubs and small trees.
There is free wifi; there are laundry facilities and full recycling provision. Gary and Jane provided a warm welcome, together with local information.
The local coast is very attractive with a well-signed coastal path, established about 10 years ago. Our favourite beach was Penbryn, which is reached via a half-mile walk from a National Trust car park.
We had an excellent meal out at the Pepper Pot in Newquay, which welcomes dogs.
