 An ok site, situated at a horse training area. Easy enough to find, but you have to go through Ringwood to reach it. We arrived on a Sunday and the traffic was nose to tail for miles along the A31 and through the town.
The site is accessed over a rather narrow bridge over a small stream which runs at the roadside, plus a gate, then another gate so a bit annoying, but it's ok, even for a large unit with care.
The site itself is rather small, well drained level grass. There is a raised area to the side where dogs can be off lead; this is also the way to the bins and CWD near the house, there is also a loo. £12 per night is fine. You will need to phone the owner to pay.
You will see the nearest garage and shop on the corner just before the turn to the site, along this road and left, past the far shop and Raptor Centre. There is a Lidl back towards the town, right off the first roundabout.
Plenty of walks around in the New Forest.
