We've visited this site several times in the last two years and will definitely go back again.
Very peaceful, owners so helpful and we've found many interesting places to walk, eat, drink and shop whilst in the area.
If you like to be away from crowds and be self-sufficient this is one of the best we've found.

Excellent site, plenty of space on all pitches which are very well kept.
Extremely peaceful with hardly any passing traffic. Access road has plenty of passing places if needed, we only met one car in the week we stayed.
Andrew is a first class host, good communication, we found the map and photographs of entrance really helpful.

Site is arrived at down a very narrow winding lane. The site is very pretty and peaceful but we feel at £25 a night is expensive for the facilities provided.
The nearest pub/restaurant is about a mile and half away but as it is situated on a very busy road with no footpath we would not recommend walking to it.
Cycling in the area is very good as roads are quiet but very very hilly.

Lovely quiet site with goats, sheep and pigs.
The owner sells his own brewed perry, plus you can order bacon and sausage to be waiting for you on arrival. Fresh eggs and honey are available to buy too.
No toilets or showers so you need to be self-contained.
The owner goes above and beyond to help you.
Not much in the local area so good mobility or bicycles are essential.
