Site is in a good location handy for Newton Stewart.
Isobel the host was friendly and informative.
Drive to farm is via a single track road.
Pitches are flat and each has water and gray waste disposal.
Facilities are average. One toilet, tiny hand basin and shower in a ‘wet room’.
Shower very little pressure and coin box for shower in adjoining room so you put coin in
Then rush into wet room to undress and shower.
Hand basin is small and there is no mirror for shaving.
Good walks from site and farm animals and rabbits provide free entertainment.
Good recycling and toilet waste disposal.

Lovely quiet site between farm fields. Lots of sheep and cattle to see, not forgetting the rabbits.
Our dogs loved the site too. Very helpful and friendly owners. We only had two nights as we're visiting family staying in a lodge in Milngaff.
Enjoyed walking from site.
Will definitely be back.
As facilities were not open we cannot review them but this system made the field mandatory, So ignore the 1 rating.

We spent four nights at this great little CL over Christmas 2019. The third time we've stayed here since we discovered it.
Really convenient just off the A75 for travellers to the Irish ferries, this is also a beautiful and interesting place to visit.
A half-hour walk to nearby Newton Stewart (Sainsbury;s, Aldi) and an interesting working farm with the famous Galloway 'beltie' cattle on their home turf.
The site has a nice new shower and toilet block. Lovely friendly hosts too.
