What a great find! John was very welcoming to his lovely CL which is located near the heart of the pretty town of Thame, yet still retained a rural feel with sheep in the next field, red kites flying overhead and a river at the end of the level site.
Access is easy and the site is very spacious & well kept. It was an easy flat walk into town which has lots of pubs, restaurants, shops & a great Tuesday market.
Also there is an express bus stop 3 mins from the site to take you into Oxford. I would highly recommend this site and look forward to returning soon.

Easy to find and access through a key-in secure pair of gates. Ring the number on the sign for the code.
John, the owner was in attendance and showed me to the pitch which has ehu and fresh water.
A reading was taken for the electric meter and a price per kw/h was advised.
The location of the chemical toilet was also pointed out. There are no toilet facilities which was fine by me.
The site is a ten minute walk into Thame. Tuesday was market and there were plenty of stalls.
£20 per night + electricity used.

Great little site with friendly helpful owner.
Supermarket and Thame town centre in walking distance and a good dog walk close by.
Vans well spaced on grass.
Very rural feel despite being so close to town.

Lovely CL within walking distance of Thame. 2 couples stayed as the guys in our party were taking part in a 2 day fishing competition nearby.
Perfect location for us ladies to get out and about without transport as there’s a bus service which runs from Aylesbury to Oxford 2 minutes away and a 7 minute walk took us to Thame, a pretty and interesting town with shops, cafes, pub/restaurants.
The site is well kept by the friendly and helpful owners and very secure, we were given a fob to operate the safety gates. Each pitch has EHU and water connection, the shower and toilet facilities were closed but we didn’t mind this as had our own facilities (not sure if they will be reopened)
We loved it and have already booked for next year. Thank you John.

An excellent little campsite, a 5 minute walk away from the pretty town of Thame. The site is quiet and well cared for, bordered by a stream on one side and a small river along another boundary.
The pitches are level and the site was well sheltered and spacious with EHU available. We saw and heard red kites.
We saw crayfish and small trout in the stream. We enjoyed the company of the friendly hens wandering around the site.
Thame has plenty to offer food and drink wise and re-stock if required. It also has some pretty and historic buildings to see.
We cycled along the Phoenix Trail which runs close to the site, to the town of Princes Risborough which was around 18 miles in total. An easy cycle, and traffic free whilst on the trail.

Absolutely fabulous site. Perfect location, close to the town of Thame and next to the river.
The owners are a credit to the campsite business, they have a lot of pride in keeping the site extremely well kept and were very friendly and helpful.
Fun to have the chickens running around during the day and though we weren’t fortunate enough to get photos the kites were spectacular.
I would highly recommend this lovely quiet spot, very well worth a visit.
Electric hook up and water at every pitch which was perfect.

A very warm welcome was given to us by John who couldn't have been more helpful during our stay.
We found the site delightful, including the resident chickens who provided hours of entertainment. Unfortunately owing to rather a lot of rain the pitches at the end of the site became rather wet but this did not deter John, or the other two members, and we all moved further up the site.
When our son was taken ill and we had to return home unexpectedly John was so supportive and looked after our caravan until we were able to return to collect it a couple of days later.
This is a site we shall return to again and again as it is not usual to meet such lovely people as John and Alison.
Many thanks, Bob and Maureen.

Lovely site, the River Thame flows along the rear of the site, EHU and water on every pitch,
Greeted by John on arrival after phoning to have the secure electric gates opened, shown to our plot and given a fob to get in and out of the gates all felt very secure.
John was friendly and helpful
Will definitely stay again in this beautiful town and surrounding area.

Stayed for one night while travelling north, liked it so much stopped for a further three nights on our way back.
Large open camping field clean with plenty of room. 10 - 15 minute walk to the town Centre, close by the Phoenix cycle trail.
Also bus stop outside sight for bus to Oxford.
Will be using this sight again.
