Shouldn’t really leave a good review for this site so we can keep it to ourselves.
But I can’t
Great little site.
Great views
Great facilities
Great friendly owners
Great walks and a great little pub 5 mins away.
Have stayed here 4 times now and we will be staying again when we can
Love it

The pitches are level and spacious with water and EHU on the pitch. The site is tidy and well kept.
There are showers and toilets on site but we didn't use them. The site has impressive views that include the Welsh hills, the Cheshire plains and the industrial area towards Liverpool.
There is a pub, The White Horse, about 5 minutes walk away which is very pleasant and welcoming.
The walk there is along a country lane with no pavement so you need to be careful.
There was a little noise from the adjacent road but this stopped at about 10:30 p. M.

Site owners are very pleasant and helpful both on the phone and when at site.
Came here for a break and some fresh air. My wife said, "What a view!"
It is a very peaceful site and the pitches are a good size with a fresh water tap on each. We had to move pitches as not all the pitches are 16A and we kept tripping the pitches connection.
It is a nice touch to have benches scattered around to sit and enjoy the air and view.
The toilet/shower block is up a couple of steps and really clean. A little cold as it has a very small heater but hey ho it was early March. The showers are a decent size and push button. Male and female toilet cubicles are adjacent a feature my wife was not in favour of.
Bins and chemical disposal point are neat and in a good place. Motorhome disposal point is certainly a bonus for such a small site.
We didn't go exploring as were just chilling. We will certainly return.

Absolutely beautiful site. Views are amazing and the owner very friendly.
It’s very peaceful and the location is excellent for walking.
Very close to a large Tesco if you need it and a pub within walking distance (we didn’t try it though)
We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for three nights, pitches are well spaced out with table and bench on the grass between pitches,
There are some lovely walks nearby, and the local pub was good.
I understand that folk like the distance you can see from your pitch, however the main view is of Elsmere Port chemical factory.
We had some friends unexpectedly drop in on their way south, (we were touring the UK for three months) the site owner appeared as if by magic demanding they leave, which if you read the small print is fair enough, but after crossing her palm with £5, they were allowed to stay long enough for a brew, left a very sour taste in the mouth, (the action, not the brew)
