Friendly and accommodating owners. Lovely little site, right in the heart of Croyde town. Shops and pubs on doorstep.
Child friendly but it is small so not ideal for running round or playing games but that was fine as beach within walking distance and beautiful walks on doorstep.

Easy booking by email and cash on arrival. One of only 2 dog friendly sites and bang in the centre of Croyde. Tents or VW vans only as narrow access. Adele was very friendly and welcoming.
Small site/field with unisex facilities in one portakabin type space including wash-up sinks. We preferred to use the shower/loo/basin in the old farmhouse building as it seemed more private and more like a bathroom.
We were in pitch 1 top left corner which was lovely - hedge/ planting on 2 sides which adjoined residential properties' gardens. We did use chocks to improve the level.
Seagulls were a slight nuisance not only with noise but also raiding bin bags during the day. Croyde has a young and surfer vibe. Pubs/restaurants had limited opening /food options as staffing is a problem. We used Billy Budds, Blue Groove and The Manor - all good.
New small bar behind the pasty shop called Hang Loose - very popular if you can get a table. Footpath behind Billy Budds and across a field to the beach. We did the Baggy Point circular walk (2 hours) and also Saunton Sands circular, coming back over the hill with stunning views down into Croyde (binos worthwhile) - again about 2 hours but you could stop off in Saunton Sands and make a day of it. Ighly recommend both these walks. Nisa local shop at Ruda Holiday Park. Highly recommend Croyde and The Orchard site.
