Great location for a stop over, very helpful owner/ manager
Flat hardstanding pitch with nice views overlooking the lake
Noise from the M4 is very loud and spoils the tranquillity of the site

We came as a retired couple for a few days change of scene and to do some fishing. The hard standing electric pitch was flat and looked down over the lake.
The fishing was brilliant. We caught about 30 carp well over 10lb and a few other smaller bream and rudd. You definitely need to book your swim as an immensely popular fishery.
It rained continually on one of the days but we were dry under our umbrella and it did not spoil the day.
Wonderful stay and will definitely come back again

An ok site, easy to find. The caravan area is located up a steepish track to the left, overlooking the fishing lake. Check in was simple, with a perspex screen for protection.
We thought it was a bit pricey for what is on offer, one loo which is also used by the fishermen and only open at the weekend. No showers. The most annoying part was the bins, none on the site, one big one down at the entrance, a fair distance away, and it was locked. A woman told me to leave the bag on top of the bin, I don't think so, there are several cats around.
Seeing as the gate is locked during the week, when we left on the Monday morning we had to unlock the gate and then take the key and site plan back to reception, a bit of a faff.
There is an overgrown path in the left hand corner, and a dog walk around a wood on the left, neither were very appealing.
The worst thing was the noise from the M4 which must only be a couple of fields away.
We would use the site again, but only for its' convenient location.
