A good value for money site - Welcome reception on arrival and left to secure your own pitch = great swimming pool on site as well as Toilet/ Shower facilities.
Marked out pitches and small/ bar and restaurant at the entrance.
Half hour walk into the village with several restaurants and bars - although supermarkets and McDonalds within 15 minute walk

Great over night stop from or to the tunnel.
Pitch's ok to leave van still hitched up.
We have stayed longer on other occasions being a good spot for touring around the area.

We normally book a lunchtime Eurotunnel crossing coming back from France and often stay within a 2 hour drive of Calais on our last night or two. This time we fancied trying somewhere new and came across this in the ACSI book.
It is about 500 metres from exit 5 on the A28, around 80 miles from Calais. I don`t know if this is the former municipal site that got a poor review on here a few years ago, but if it is it has clearly improved as I thought it was an excellent site and at 14 euros with the ACSI discount, very good value.
The guy at check in was very friendly and I was able to choose any pitch I wanted ( it was very quiet when we were there).
Pitches are all grass and are a good size, and the grass was well maintained and cut. Sanitary facilities are first rate and there is a bar/restaurant on site.
A 5 minute bike ride, or a little longer walk takes you to a SuperU, and the town itself, and the site sits next to a couple of small lakes that you can walk around.
All in all a perfect stop-over, and there is also a MH aire right outside.
