Such a lovely quiet family campsite. Large electric pitches perfectly flat with electric hook up, NB only a few available.
Site mainly caravans pitched for the whole season.
Owner very friendly and chatty.
Showers £1 token for 7 min hot shower- but pitch cost very reasonable so no need to worry over £1 for shower token
Tea shop fantastic for cream teas, pasties and baked potatoes.
We had a lovely morning playing croquet on their lawn.
Next door campsite had a small camp shop for essentials and a burger van that also sold freshly made pizza.
Short 10 min walk to the beach.
Lovely clean sandy beach with crystal clear water, coves and rocks to explore at low tide, safe cove for swimming at high tide. Beach cafe worth a visit - tasty ice creams and pasties.
Fantastic views from the cliff path.
Very wiggly road to campsite.

Lovely, well kept flat campsite. Really friendly welcome.
Clean facilities. What was not to love about the site.
I’m sure we’ll be back.
Only minor downside was the walk to the beach. Path or road quite steep and narrow. I’ll be investing in a trolley for next visit

We love this site, we've stayed over and over again and will continue to do so. My fiance has even come down with his fisherman friends!
We stay in the camping field (no electric hook up), it is lovely and level, very relaxed, peaceful. Facilities are close enough and kept tidy.
The owner is always friendly and easy going. Their cafe does amazing cream teas.
Best of all the short walk to the beach is entirely off the road - ideal for dogs and children.

We have been going to Berryfields campsite for over 10 years, so you could say we like it!
It is a quiet site, a mix of tents, tourers, and static caravans. Most of the site has marked out grass pitches with electric, or there is a separate field where it is more informal and you pitch where you like, idea for family groups. No electric in the field area. There are two shower/toilet blocks, not big but very well maintained and adequate for the site (showers by token 60p). Pot washing sinks with free hot water. Outdoor cold shower for sandy wet suits. There is also a laundry room and freezer for ice blocks only (no food).
The children's play area and crazy golf are a bit rundown, but Chris the owner told me this was his winter project of 2020. There is also a larger pitch and putt, and Crochet sets can be hired, so plenty to do!
The site has an excellent cafe serving reportedly the best strawberry cream teas in Cornwall. The beautiful family friendly surfing beach of Porthcothen is a 15 minute walk over the fields, or a 10 minute walk along the busy narrow road, the views and Sunsets are the best.
A pub serving meals is a 5 minute walk.
The site is ideally situated for walking, along the cliffs north towards Constantine bay (about 2 miles) or south towards Bedrouthen steps.
Chris the owner is very helpful and happy to chat, if he has the time, the campsite has no website, so you have to phone to book, good luck with that! But believe me it is worth the effort.
Cost wise, for a site near the beach in Cornwall you will not get better value, we paid £16 per night this year. No crafty extras slipped in to bump the price up.
Nearly forgot, very dog friendly.
We will be back. 👍👍👍
