We use this site most years. It now takes ACSI discount card for 19€ pn up to first week in July & again after 3rd week of Aug so even better.
Not much to add from my previous reviews. Site is very wooded & shady which is good because it can get into high 30s in a Dordogne summer.
Most of ehu points need a 2pin adaptor but supply is reliable.
Site is busy in French holiday season July/Aug but outside those times very quiet. No need to book even at peak time though. Site is huge.
Just turn up you will get a pitch ok. We like it.

Back again. We visit this site most years. Weather has been so hot that after 2 weeks we signed on for another 2 as did not fancy moving in 39deg heat ! 10% discount if you stay 4 weeks in high season so worked for us.
Not much to add from my last review. Sanitaire blocks are getting a bit tired but are kept well clean so ok. Place has a very rural & rustic feel to it but the cleaning & rubbish removal are first class.
Owners are very helpful. English spoken ok but she does like you to try a bit of French. Free WiFi at the cafe reception area & there is entertainment with local bands playing some evenings July & August.
You have a choice of nice pool with comfortable sunbeds provided or a swimming lake with beach. It is a popular site for all ages. Plenty of families & also retired folk like us.
Site is quite remote but Lidls & Leclerc supermarkets are less than half hrs careful drive along narrow roads. If you fancy a bit of naturism give it a try here.

Back here again this year. It was peak time & site was busy but it’s a big site so still plenty of pitches available. We never book. Just turn up. Most of the rest as my review from last year. We have been coming here for years & not much changes.
Worth mentioning that for anybody wanting to try out naturist camping this is an ideal site. Large with large pitches so you are not too close to other campers.
People are friendly but not intrusive. No naturist membership cards required. Just turn up same as any other campsite. Very few French naturist sites now require naturist organisation membership cards.
If you do speak a bit of French there is plenty going on. Communal meals. Fishing contests in the fishing lake. Boules tournaments & so on.
There is a big group of French campers that meet up at the site every year. Or do what we do & just sit about go for walks & go swimming. The site can be whatever you want it to be which is why we like it.
Area is very rural but with nice towns & villages in the area. Sainte Foy Le Grande about 10miles south is nice with a large market & also a very large Leclercs centre commercial.

This was our second visit and found it brilliant.
100 acres in total with fishing lake and swimming lake.
Plenty of space for everybody.
Facilities clean and well maintained.
Restaurant good value with different themed nights during the week.
We will be returning September this year.
About 20 minutes drive from motorway exit.
Site is owned by Dutch family and a lot of the guests are Dutch who have been going back for 10, 20 or more years. Not many from UK due to Brexit, Covid?
The owners were disappointed not to see some from UK who had permanent mobile homes there.
Hopefully things might change this year. Bonus for us, only about a 3 hour drive.

A site we have been visiting for many years on & off. It is located in the less touristic western end of the Dordogne. Site is well signposted off the main road & is accessed along narrow single track roads that are not busy though. Wide verges mostly so if you do meet oncoming traffic it is not too bad.
Site is very large & wooded & therefore quite shady. Welcome in a hot summer midday but can be a bit gloomy mornings & evenings. Some pitches more shady than others so choose carefully. Site is massive so even in busy periods there is usually a good choice for those turning up on spec which we always do. Site is on a bit of a slant so you will need to level caravan. Most pitches are more earth than grass so ok to dig hole to drop wheel into to level caravan. Ehu is a bit old & you will need 2pin adaptor.
Site has very French atmosphere with many regulars from all parts of France who meet up there every year & socialise. Petanque & communal meals etc. If you want to join in then good French language skills will help but if not just do your own thing. Place is very laid back. Owner does speak reasonable English & makes you very welcome.
There are 2 main sanitaires both rather old but in good repair with plenty of hot water. Some pitches are quite far away from these but there are sinks water taps & small toilet blocks dotted around the site. Site & facilities could be described as rustic but adds to charm of the place I think.
The reception area at entrance to site is large & includes bar & restaurant, small shop & free wifi. There is very nice pool at top of site with sun beds provided. A long walk to other end of site & there is a large swimming lake with beach & a separate fishing lake. Site is huge & to walk all around edge might take an hour.
Small shop on site but nearest supermarkets are a good 10miles away in neatest towns Montpon with Intermarche & Lidl or St Foy le grande with a massive Leclercs.
