We stayed for 2 nights in our folding camper.

The site is very well maintained and the pitches are large and spacious with electric hookup and drinking water per pitch.

The showers are large and spotless, some of the best I have ever seen.

There is a small playground and plenty of grassed areas for the kids to play.

The site is only 5 minutes drive from a nearby supermarket and also the park and ride service into York.

Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay.

Given pitch number and barrier code over phone before arrival, no staff on site.

40 gravel pitches set around facilities block, large pitches with plenty of space between pitches, electric hook up, included in pitch fee and water tap on each pitch.

Four individual shower rooms with shower, sink and toilet for both male and female. Showers push button and only luke warm, only stayed on for about 9 seconds.

2 pot washing up sinks, laundry room with information leaflets in facilities block.

Shower block only cleaned twice while we were there. Evan saw someone taking dog into shower!

Motorhome point at entrance to site.

Small children's play area.

Approx 10 minute walk to bus stop across very busy road, buses to Monks Cross and York.

No footpath to Monks Cross.

 Would not return or recommend,

Toilet block not cleaned to good standard, watched cleaners arrive & leave within 4 minutes.

Pitches made up from rough rubble,

Dogs allowed to wander around site unsupervised,

No warden on site outside of check-in times.

Our first stay at this site, not to be confused with the m. H. C. C. Site that is 100 yards further up the road.

The entrance is slightly narrow with a key code barrier code is given when you arrive over the phone

A 150 yard drive brings you to the site which is flat and pitches are well spread out with the toilet block in the middle, a shower and toilet wash basin in each of 3 rooms and a disabled room same for females washing machine and dryer in other room,

A tap and electric hookup at the rear of your pitch waste disposal beside toilet block,

Grass was a little long but that's due to wet weather and it looked like they were just receiving a new mower on the day we left,

A playpark in on corner of the field,

A 10% discount from a recommended taxi co to York £11 fare, only 3 buses run to York from a nearby estate outside of a pub on a morning, park and ride is 2 mile away as well as monks cross shopping centre Asda ect,

Slight road noise from York bypass which you turn off at roundabout to get to site, we would use again if our preferred site wasn't available.

Amazing, secure site. Peaceful, dog friendly with a fenced off dog exercise area,

Clean facilities each toilet has a shower and sink which make life easier. Ideal for families trying to wash children.

Washing and drier facilities.

Sinks for washing pots. Cold water tap and electric at each pitch.

Childrens playground and a country walk.

This site is a great template for other sites to follow.

What a great site, pitches are large and level, all pitches with easy access to the site road and easy walk to the washblock.

Very busy at the weekend but nice and quiet in the week.

A twenty minute walk to the shopping centre and Park & ride at Monks Cross. An hour's walk to the centre of York.

A really great site. Large pitches, modern very clean facilities, great welcome on arrival.

A couple of minor dislikes. There is some Road noise during the day from the adjacent A64 but not enough to spoil things.

The path to the pub and also used for dog walking has been closed by the neighbouring farmer and now says private.
