Beautiful eco small friendly site with great, clean compost loos and showers.

We booked for a pizza -it was perfect for Friday night arrival! Wish we had pre-booked the porterage service, but we managed with the huge barrows (free).

We stayed in the cool, shaded woods. Wonderful. Lots to do for young families - perfect place to run as a pack and explore unsupervised. ! No electric music but lots of excited children’s voices to break the birdsong.

A little traffic hum from A21 but honestly not an issue. Ducks, chicks and jams, pub, coast and walks nearby …

Will book again in a heartbeat.

Oh my god, such a fabulous weekend.

We were soo lucky with the weather which really helped but the site is beautiful.

We stayed in the meadow, spacious, plenty of WCs and the hot shower was great.

There was only one shower open as it was very quiet - an unexpected treat, as was seeing the Northern lights.

The sky has no light pollution so it was the perfect place to see them - very lucky.

This is the most wonderful place.

Utter peace and heaven, yet only ten minutes to the joys of Hastings.

I would live there if I could.

Note! BRING LIGHTS!

The kids had a blast in the woodland area and we were lucky to have super weather. A well run site, if a tiny bit haphazard!

Was a bit peeved to have to pay for car parking, but in fairness I knew about this in advance. I also knew about the porterage service at a cost of £10 per trailer, because cars are not allowed to drive on site (excepting the camper vans in the field area).

The toilet in our area was a well used long drop that was serviced once a day. Other nearby toilets were chemical and after a busy weekend, they were very smelly.

The shower was lovely, not boiling hot, but warm enough to get you clean. But only shampoo was supplied, I thought body wash was supposed to be there.

We never had to queue for a shower, even though it seemed a busy weekend. The Monday we left, the site was almost empty.

A good place to take kids so they can run amok, not sure I’d return for an adult quiet break.
