Site location. Nice open countryside, excellent for access to Lincoln, excellent for watching the Red Arrows from RAF Waddington.
Unfortunately unless you're a trainspotter, the standard pitches are within 50 yards of the main line which carries a lot of freight traffic.
Very long and very noisy, 6 trains each night! It might not bother a lot of people and the site does mention this but it really spoilt our experience waking us up each time.
Other than that the site is well kept, the standard pitches are slightly sloping, good walks all round and the Brewers Restaurant is excellent.

A pleasant site with loads of walks with our dog around the fishing lakes and walkways through the countryside, a peaceful site,
The grounds are well kept and the showers/toilets spotlessly clean.
A lovely cafe and bar which serves good food, staff are very friendly and helpful,
Cant comment on child friendliness as we are retired and have no small children but did see a play area for kids and a large field for ball games away from the campsite pitches area which is a sensible idea,
Would certainly stay again when touring that area.

First time visitors to Hanworth Country Park - despite the campsite having excellent modern facilities, good location for visits to Lincoln (12 min drive) and country walks and a lovely pub/restaurant on site which has a wide selection of lagers and pale ales to choose from! It is rather the people on the campsite which bring this review down to a 3 out of 5.
As similar reviews have stated, there seems to be an attraction for larger more vocal members of the public who like to do as they please whilst away, mainly a place for locals to have a frenzied camping trip.
We were greeted to kids playing football all over the park, parents letting them run riot into early hours of the morning, people defacing the insides of the toilets and to top it off, an ignorant gentleman decided to wash his entire Cadac bbq in the gents sinks and leave his muck all over the place!
The bins looked liked they hadn't been emptied for a couple of weeks which attracted flies and wasps galore. We had requested to move pitches to get away from the football playing area, to be told none were available yet after 3 nights we noticed at least 3 pitches were empty for the duration of our stay - hopefully this can be addressed for future campers.
Like I said above, the campsite itself isn't half bad, it's the regulars/locals that unfortunately ruin this site. One to return to out of season and most certainly not in the school holidays!

Easy access from new A46 Lincoln bypass (5 mins) or Sleaford A15/A17.
Large new friendly site with many options from statics to yurts, tents and tourers fully serviced with 240v, grey drain & fresh supply.
Large level pitches & well kept lawns with acres of space for the kids to run riot with an assault course & football pitch.
Lots of fishing pegs in well stocked lakes, even watched an 8yr old girl land a huge mirror carp!
Large cafe & good facilities
£66 got us 2 nights, Fri, Sat including awning, 2 children & 1 dog.
Good for train spotters too as the Lincoln to Sleaford line runs along the elevated rear of the site. Will be back.
