Lovely little Oasis in the middle of an industrial estate. Very peaceful, pub food is fantastic.
Shower not very clean but toilets were fine. Great facilities for the price though and just a short 15 minute walk to the Market.
Asda very close by too.
Will defo stay again. I'd be worried with young kids so close to the canala although it is fenced off.
Great little site.

An ideal base. Good value for money. Nice pub on site. Basic facilities.
Toilet were clean. Not sure where the shower was but didn't need it.
The five pitches are opposite the canal boats and most of these are residential moorings.

Lovely outlook over the canal boats moored in the marina to the Leggers Inn pub which served lovely food and had a good selection of drinks.
During our visit the music from the pub was very loud until after midnight but only on the Saturday night so that may be off putting for some people,
We experienced a repeated issue with dog owners not picking up in the area immediately outside our caravan pitch which would stop me returning in the future, however the owner Gordon who was very welcoming might not be aware of this issue, perhaps we were just unlucky with irresponsible dog owners on our visit.
The facilities in the pub were fine but the outdoor facilities could do with a little improving.

Brilliant little find this, we have family in Dewsbury and Ossett and have really struggled to find a good site.
Great for walking and close to the town centre too, yet feels remote.
Definitely be going back.
We did not use the on site facilities, but they did appear fine.

Stayed here for a couple of nights as visiting family in Wakefield. After reading the other reviews we were open minded however we were pleasantly surprised.
Pub on site did good food. Gordon was very helpful The boat owners were all friendly, and yes a couple of dogs roam, but they caused no issues with ours.
We were on pitch two from the car park and as we were the only van, had mains water :)
Didn't use the facilities so cant comment.
Nice walks on the canal
£13 per night. What more can you ask for.
My only piece of advice. Do not use the entrance/exit furthest away from pub as your van will bottom out. Come in and go out including when just in your car by the entrance next to the pub
