 Liked everything. Dark, very quiet, clean, simple. Glorious views.
Advice to go beyond the satnav arrival point by a good way would have been helpful.
Near lakes fairly near Bala.

Lovely, calm, quiet campsite. Lovely owners.
We travelled as a large family with 2 camper vans & 3 tents and ensured we were together.
The shower was lovely and warm, looking up into the trees was absolutely perfect first thing in the morning.
We used the fire pits every night & there was plenty of wood and kindling in the bags.
Many thanks for a perfect weekend.

Great pub at the bottom of a steep hill.
Outdoor woodland showers and loos.
Will definitely return.

Stayed here to be near Bala Lake and it's a gorgeous campsite, if, like us, you prefer simple and quiet. The views are lovely, the only sounds are the birds and the occasional car on the single track road.
The stars at night are some of the best we've ever seen, and combined with the provided firepit, it makes for an ideal camping night.
The compost toilet is a miracle and we enjoyed using it every time. Shower worked perfectly too, somewhere to change near it would be useful, but I can see that might be tricky to build.
The owners are really helpful and pleasant. Saved my skin by lending us a frying pan and saucepan after I'd forgotten to pack them and facing three hungry children at 8pm.
It's a well thought out site, with level pitches for tents, just a perfect little gem.
