Absolutely fantastic stay.
Lovely site and the most helpful owners and their family.
I was visiting "Zip World " and this site was superbly placed for my visit there. Due to the drive there I booked extra nights and was glad I did. I'm in my sixties and was thoroughly impressed with a great pitch and the peace and tranquillity. Coupled with amazing night skies.
For a family with young children the farm animals and location would be a blessing.
Local amenities are a fair walk away along very narrow lanes or a 15 minute drive. I chose to walk. But don't let this dissuade you. For the adequately equipped camper this site has all the extras one would expect.
I will most certainly be booking again.

Beautiful camp site adjacent to a farm with superb views of Snowdonia.
Facilities excellent including kitchen and bathroom areas with wonderful home prepared food available too.
For those without private transport there is a bus stop under a quarter of a mile away (the last bus leaves Bangor late afternoon) or you can walk into Bangor in about 45 minutes.

We were one of the very first visitors to stay in the 'Belle Tent'. It was spotlessly clean, as was the entire campsite.
The views from the tent across to Snowdonia are stunning, especially on warm summer evenings where you can sit outside the tent with a cheeky beer or wine and watch the the moon rise over the mountains. Bliss.
Mark and Frances were outstanding hosts. Our children had a wonderful time with them feeding the donkeys and goats.
The cabin facilities has absolutely everything you could want, including a washer/dryer. The showers and toilets were kept very clean throughout our stay.
You could park right next to the tent too, arriving via a separate entrance gate. Loads of room for the kids to run around the field and other tents were some distance away.
Bangor itself has just about every shop you could ever wish for. There's a massive Tesco Extra about 5 minutes drive away from the site (or a 30 minute walk).
The proximity to the A55 makes sightseeing a breeze. We could get to places like Beaumaris and Caernarfon very easily. There is a bit of a noise from the road at night, but it's no worse in our opinion than staying in a tent near the sea for example.
We loved our time at Caerhun and will definitely return!

Last weekend we were very lucky to get the opportunity to visit Caerhun Farm on our way home from a week camping in North Wales. From the moment we arrived we received a wonderful welcome and I was delighted to discover a glamping pod was available for me and my two preteen girls.
The pods are so comfortable and have everything needed for a restful night sleep and to recharge. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and comfortable for two adults, the mattress was very comfortable, I slept for hours (which is a rarity for me). To not have to unpack, make beds, and pitch a tent again was an absolute treat and turned a long active week into a restful retreat for our final weekend of North Wales adventures.
Waking up to the lush green view of the meadow with mountain tops in distance, the sound of birdsong and Thor’s the cockerel’s morning call was just beautiful and still makes me smile now that I am home.
We squeezed a single airbed into the pod so that we could all stay together. It was cosy but possible. There is plenty of room next to the pod for a tent if your family is more than two.
The visitor cabin enabled us to make a pot of coffee and prepare our breakfast. With a toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and kitchen equipment provided there was lots of options. We didn’t need to use it but having a washing machine and place to dry clothes and somewhere to sit inside if the weather hadn’t been kind was very reassuring.
The visitor cabin has so many extra special touches of care and creativity. It’s a great space. The showers were clean and the water was piping hot and it was very helpful to have a larger space in one of the showers that we could use and lock as a family.
Frances, Mark and their family made us so welcome. The homemade ice cream was lush, tree swings, being hands on with the animals, collecting eggs for breakfast, tractor time and generally getting involved in farming life was an amazing experience for us.
We made wonderful lasting memories at Caerhun Farm and can’t wait to return and see our new friends again soon.
