Saw this site on a previous visit to the area, booked it up in January for an Easter break, had booked for just the weekend but on arrival asked if we could stay for the week which was no problem.
The field was very wet and while we didn't get stuck some others did and needed to be towed out by the AA, (it had rained for a while before we arrived.
The beer and food in the pub is great, along with the service. Some of the pitches have quite a slope on them so you will need some form of levelling if on those.
All in all its a small 5 van site no showers or toilets but with electric hookup in a lovely position, right on the Rutland Walter path, with Oakham only a short distance away. Great for walking, cycling and general relaxation.
At the time of visit a pitch with electricity was £25 per night.

Quiet and peaceful, good pub, due to COVID limited menu,
Site could do with a bit of TLC, for £25 / night would expect some half decent toilets and the use of a shower!
We had a great stay and enjoyed the weekend but thought it was a bit pricey for what was on offer.

Basic site. Field with electric, water, CDP, portaloos at pub next door. Short dog walk. Long grass had been cut and left, so a bit messy.
No contact with anyone. Pub took the money. Was very quiet and peaceful (main road to Oakham was closed) short cycle ride to Rutland water. No view from campsite.
Felt £25 was a bit expensive but I guess it's supply and demand as the other campsites were full.
Pretty village and church.

Lovely quiet site in a pleasant village location.
Despite having renovation work done at the pub the customer service was spot on.
Good base for exploring the Rutland water and nearby cycle circuit.
