We spent a great night here. We were in the area to visit a gallery in Petworth and this site suited us perfectly.
It is a very simple and straightforward site and the two of us enjoyed our visit very much. The goats were perfect and unobtrusive company. The dog loved it there too!
We walked to the Queen's Head pub (about 15 minutes away) and spent a very pleasant evening there. It's a lovely pub with friendly hosts.
Looking forward to having the opportunity to come back.
Maybe to visit the RSPB reserve at Pulborough Brooks, which is very near.
Thanks to our hosts.

We had a lovely stay. Jackie was very friendly and helpful.
It was great to have an outside loo available.
Some very friendly and amusing goats in the next door field.
There were 2 pubs within walking distance for food in the evening.

Very well kept smallholding. Absolutely spotless and in a beautiful area. Almost level (couple of degrees) fixed with a small chock on one corner of the campervan. I parked with roof mounted solar panels facing south, from the other direction this wouldn't be noticeable.
The Goats, Dogs and Horses are a delight to see and all very friendly.
A spotless loo, two sets of gates, separate the site from the road - a plus for children.
The only thing that could be really handy for longer stays for those without full facilities would be a shower - which I understand is a longer term plan for the site.
The Site's Owners are absolutely lovely.
For birdlovers Merlin Bird ID - app told me there were two uncommon species singing in the half hour I ran it for, in the vast list were half a dozen other species I'd not heard of.
A couple of local pubs, I tried The Five Bells which is 0. 8 of a mile away with a really great selection of real ales and the home made food was superb, one to return to.
A special place - see you again soon and thank you for making the dog and I so welcome.

A lovely, quiet campsite with very welcoming hosts. Big field to camp in where you walk past the resident goats to get to which was cute.
A toilet and sink area are available but no shower, although this didn’t matter to me and the hosts did mention that they have plans to have a shower put in soon.
A stunning sunset over the campsite and the morning was filled with birdsong which was lovely. Easy to find and gain access to, but perfectly balanced with being away from the bustle and surrounded by nature.
Would recommend and will definitely be back myself.

We received a warm welcome from David, to this wonderful quiet campsite.
The campsite has basic and clean facilities, which both of us like, as this is all we want from most campsites. It is situated on a very gentle slope, with some level pitches available too. Fire pits and dry logs are available too at a good price.
Jackie & David took the time to tell us about some beautiful walks nearby, with views to the South Downs.
We walked to the local pub for a pint and felt very welcome there, they serve hot food too, although we didn’t have enough time to sample their delights before walking back to the campsite.
We only had one night here but will be back again for more.
Thanks to you both for a lovely stay.

Lovely quiet site, very friendly hospitable hosts.
I had my two dogs with me, who were made very welcome, as was I.
Some lovely walks, especially to and along The South Downs.
Off the beaten track peace and quiet.

Interesting site! I wanted a basic site - and I got it. Facilities were just a tiny loo and hand basin with hot water and drinking water in the field via a tap plus a few bins.
Only three visitors the night I was there, so very quiet and chilled. The site comprises of two large grassy fields, which are fairly flat, with trees around the boarder which provide shade and shelter.
They are part of a smallholding off a very quiet local road which includes a farmhouse, a workshop, stables and training areas for horses.
David, who runs the site with his wife Jackie (who I did not meet) is a really nice guy. I chatted with him after paying my £20 pitch fee, while he milked a goat!
There are two pubs nearby and that's about it! So if you want a quiet pitch with basic facilities - then this is the place for you.

Well kept, very clean, quiet and beautiful location.
Would definitely come back.
Only downside is that you feel like you're in someone's back garden a bit. As it is a field behind someone's house.
But the hosts were lovely and we enjoyed seeing the animals around their property.
