Great place, really easy to find. Mark the site mgr was great when we arrived.
They had new facilities when we got there with new toilets and showers. Made a huge difference once you a had belly crawled through kelt to find otters.
The view was stunning and very secluded at night. Wished the toilet disposal unit was easier to use instead of having to wait for Mark to arrive to open it maybe a code of some sort.
Loved the place will be back.

Small compact site. Location overlooking sound of Ulva and boats in the harbour, very picturesque.
Hook up and cold water tap on site which was adequate for us only staying one night.
It's a 2 minute walk down to the public toilet which is only toilet facility.
No shower facilities at the moment, maybe they will become available when the new harbour services/amenities building is complete later on this year?
Well worth taking a trip across on the wee passenger ferry to Ulva Island and have an amazing lunch at The Boathouse.
Thoroughly recommend this site for a night stopover.

Great views, with interesting birds, ie herons, geese, goldfinches on the thistles, etc.
Ideal position to catch ferry to Ulva for walks and superb food at the boathouse.

We just stayed for a night at this lovely stopover.
Such a peaceful place. Really good set up too,
Tariff collected by a representative of the local community who have set up this venture to help tourists like us and for the community to benefit from it also.
Would highly recommend it.

This community owned site is in a very peaceful location overlooking a loch which is frequented by otters and herons.
The water taps are on the back of the electric hook up points so filling the water tank was effortless. The chemical disposal point is locked but is opened around 9am and 6pm each day.
Booking in advance is essential and payment is taken by a friendly community member around 6pm.
The sunsets are beautiful and it is a two minute walk to the ferry where boat trips to Staffa and other islands can be taken. A ferry crossing to Ulva should not be missed and the food from the Ulva Boathouse restaurant is fabulous.
The only downside for us was the hardstanding which was made from large gravel which wasn't comfortable for our dog to walk on.
Highly recommended site, well done to the community for setting it up.
