One of our favorite CL Sites, Sue and Pete are lovely and nothing is too much trouble, we first visited in 2021 and returned this Easter and the new addition of the Tea Rooms is a wonderful addition.
Sue is an excellent baker and her cakes are lovely and the Alvingham Coffee is a must, we always take some home with us.
The weather was shocking so we stayed on the hardstanding as the paddock was sodden and this ment we were the only ones on site at Easter - Bliss.
So relaxing and its a short drive into Louth which is a lovely town with a market on a Saturday, the cheese shop is a must and lots of nice shops and pubs.
If you want a relaxing break away from the noise and love wildlife you will love this place.

Bearing in mind the time of year we were on one of the hardstandings which are large spaces between barns with views over the huge area for the grass pitches and fields beyond
We were met by Sue a charming lady and she showed us all the facilities EHU, CDP, gray water disposal, and the toilet
Great place in a very quiet location handy for Louth and not far from the coast eg Mablethorpe Donna Nook etc
There is also a superb tearoom on site serving fabulous homemade cakes etc and top notch coffee "The Alvingham Coffee Roasters"
The price when we stayed was £20 including EHU

Sue was extremely helpful and friendly.
Sue met us on arrival, made sure we were connected to electric ok and gave us a run down of the facilities including a small paddock to walk our dog.
We had a huge hardstanding between farm buildings and could see sheep one side and fields the other side.
We loved it, just a lovely feel to the site.
There is one toilet, we knew that when booking and have our own facilities.

Beautiful kept CL and in a huge paddock with EHU and one Toilet and sink, honesty shop/info shed with any essentials you may have forgotten.
Very peaceful stay, no noise and only about 4 miles from Louth.
Sue & Pete are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make your stay as nice as possible and we were given home made scones with clotted cream and jam foc during our stay. They also make their own coffee which we purchased and it was lovely. Sue also makes home made ice cream which we also sampled.
Handy for Mabelthorpe and surrounding area.
Highly recommend this little Gem
