 Really great spot.
A relaxed site with basic but well kept facilities.
Not near anything so would need to ensure you have all you need.
Great spot by the river.

What a find! If you want to relax, switch off from the world, this is the site.
Lovely owner who was particularly flexible with my stay.
I work in Milton Keynes but live in North Wales so this is perfect for when I stay over.
Love this place!

Lovely little site and if you are lucky, there are a few pitches on the bank of the river, although you cannot access it, it is behind a fence.
Most pitches are in the rest of the field (which is on a bit of a slope, so bring levellers if in a campervan) so don't expect a riverside pitch, unless you are lucky.
There is just one loo and one shower in separate single cabins. However they were very clean, and plenty of hot water. The shower cubicle is a bit tight, there is nowhere to hang your clothes / towel so they will get wet. Recycling bins.
Location is very quiet, but a bit isolated. I was disappointed to find that the advertised on site dog walks, and woodland walks did not exist! There is no route out of the site to footpaths without walking along roads for about 1/2 mile.
I enquired using the form on this listing and the owner (who is lovely by the way) confirmed my pitch and said to pay on arrival, which I did. She said she much prefers when people do this rather than using online payments where they end up losing money on commission.
I paid £15 but I see it has gone up to £24 now, which for a single person is a bit pricey, but not too bad for a family I guess.
All in all a very nice site, just a shame you cannot walk directly from it without using the roads. I will return though!
