Lovely campsite by the Thames. We had paddled down the Thames, campsite a bit of a hike with boats after a long day, but Mark provided wheels, made it all much easier.

Basic campsite, but has water, loo's and a shower with hot water. Mark provided chairs and firepits, made camping and touring so much easier. Site is quiet, other campers friendly. We were a big group.

Mark was very organised, friendly and extremely helpful. I thought the railway line near by might be a problem, but slept easily.

We will be coming back.

What a fabulous place to stay. Mark was so helpful and made me feel very welcome.

As a backpacker I was delighted to find that there were picnic benches available and Mark also loaned me a chair so I could sit outside my tent and enjoy the sunset.

Pangbourne is only a short walk away, very handy for shops and pubs.

This campsite has a really relaxed vibe and the facilities may be basic but they are kept very clean and tidy.

As a solo woman camper I felt very safe and relaxed.

Would definitely recommend. I will be back!

Fantastic stay for just one night.

Mark was so helpful and the campsite has just the right atmosphere, with good services, lots of space and even badminton net and swing ball/croquet.

We really loved our swims in this beautiful part of the Thames which is so close,

Terrific dog walks and then slept so well as the site was quiet and well supervised.

Stayed here for a few nights with my friend, the campsite was great and the owners were very pleasant and helpful.

There were chairs and other things available to use, and the shower and bathrooms were clean.

From what I saw the campsite was very eco-friendly (lights were solar-powered, there were recycling bins, etc) which I thought was great.

Overall it was a great experience that I would recommend to others!

We stayed here for 2 nights, with car and small tent, in order to do some walking on the Thames Path.

Facilities are basic. Noone likes chemical toilets, but it is a pop-up site, and they were kept clean. It wasn't busy when we were there so we don't know how the facilities would cope if it were fuller.

There is some noise from the nearby railway but this didn't bother us. The site feels relaxed and has a peaceful, relaxed ambiance.

It's location is excellent. It is 10 mins walk from a range of pubs and restaurants in Pangbourne, and I loved being able to swim the Thames which is right by the site, as is the Thames Path

The owner was very friendly and helpful.

We have just returned from the best stay here. The location is amazing.

Pangbourne is a little gem, could easily have been in Dorset somewhere.

Owner was brilliant. Very attentive and kind.

Had an 8 man tent on a family pitch with two cars.

Had a camp fire -toasted marshmallows. Basket, wood and kindling kindly provided.

Loos kept very clean, loo roll, hand sanitiser, washing up areas, running cold water. Even a cold water shower.

15 min stroll into centre of picturesque Pangbourne with an array of lovely pubs and restaurants, ice cream parlour, cafès butchers, supermarket etc.

Stunning walks within moments of the site.

Water within moment with access so great for watersports or for staying at of you are looking to moor up somewhere.

Lovely, rustic site with baby bunnies hopping around in the evenings. So sweet.

Absolutely loved it and wish we were back there again already.

Only opened last week. Guarantee this place will be packed-in by next year!

Hi there, I stayed for a night at meadow camping and I had a really good time.

The people running the camping site are very friendly and took great care of me even though they didn’t have to.

They also provides all the facilities one needs when in camping: toilets, sink, football pitch & usb plugs where I could charge my phone.

I’ll definitely come back.
