I decided to try a bikepacking trip alone and this site is not too far from my home. A very basic site on a working farm (no animals).

Toilet and shower facilities are very modern units situated in a barn. A very pleasant owner, though I didn't see much of him during my 2 night stay.

The camp field is flat(ish), not the best but fine. Great views of Hardwick Hall. A shop is less than a mile away and a great pub in the beautiful village of Heath is a little walk away.

Camping was £8 per night but I think the Owner took pity on me for being the only one on the field so late in the season only charged me £10 for both nights.
