 Liked location and facilities were good as expected.
Lots of space was given so we weren’t too close to anyone which we liked and got our own space.
Everyone respected each other

Hillcrest Farm camping was a mixed 'bag' of experiences: their efforts to tell us how to find them were excellent.
The environment of the pitch was wonderful too, peaceful and beautiful with plenty of space and a cosy feel as it was a small field in the woods called the Clearing.
However, the shower and toilets were a big disappointment. The shower was not only unusable, at some point scolding hot water came out as it was malfunctioning (Same result for all camping guests that attempted to use it. ) That's such a shame as the idea of the outdoor shower (no roof, still privacy) is so attractive.
There are 2 eco toilets on our field but they were locked and instead we had to use the dreaded port-a-loos. They were clean and fully functional, but personally I don't like using them.

Great location
Facilities minimal, no basin or sink for dishes, tooth brushing, only one shower for all comers
Confusion over site location and poor timing of clarification using apps which oldies like us struggle with, especially while driving….
