Great little campsite & fantastic value. Clean toilet & warm (ish) water tap.
Close to Bamford train station and main road for buses to Sheffield. Trains didn't run at night so didn't wake me.
Might be a bit muddy when busy if lots of vehicles drive about, but they may have alternative area for tents when it's busy.
Great value & located near a pub, shop (Texaco garage) and buses to / from castleton if you go up Mam Tor & don't want to walk all the way back.
Also a good walk to the Ladybower reservoir & nearby woods.

Small very basic level site.
Clean toilet and sink, but no shower. Very close to the railway station so you don't need a car.
The owners Mr & Mrs Hoggarth are very nice people.
Will stay on this site again.
Would have been 10 out of 10 if the site had a shower and no cars allowed on the site.

Small site but all you need.
Toilet and washing up area both good.
No other facilities on site but Pub, shop, bakery, cafe all within 1/2 mile.
Basically nothing to complain about !
Not as expensive as other sites so that's a bonus !

Fantastic peaceful site. Friendly owner and his dig. Gorgeous calves alongside you to wake you in the morning.
Train line is nearby but didn't bother us. Lovely clean toilet and washing up area, drinking water etc.
Located across a lane from a recreation ground with a brilliant play park for children. Pop across the field for direct access to a great paddling spot in the River Derwent.

One night flying visit and the site worked well.
Small, but adequate paddock at the side of the farmhouse, EHU nicely spread out, toilet and washing facilities - no shower - in a clean, adapted wooden structure in the corner with water fill up tap and hose.
Excellent base to take in the Glorious Peak District with all its walks and attractions.
On a bus and train routes.
Booked to go again soon,
Peter

The site is a small field on a farm close to road and rail with a toilet and sink in a small, tidy shed in the corner.
It was quite busy with a couple of caravans, a couple of tents and a couple of vans the weekend we were there but we were never over crowded.
The location is perfect for walking and exploring the area.
The farmer was very friendly and the price was reasonable.
We would definitely return for a weekend. If I am honest probably no longer without a shower.
