Had a pleasant stay watching the planes,
The site is fine
EHU a bit expensive for 10 amps,
Facilities are a bit lacking as is the viewing platform as its now looks a bit worse for wear and needs to be repaired,
Apart from that it could be a great site.

This site has only basic facilities but do not be put off. Just five pitches overlooking the airfield with a raised viewing area.
Clean loo and waste disposal.
Friendly welcome from the owner
Not a place to take your dog given the aircraft noise with the owners wisely not accepting them.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will be back.

Fantastic location for plane photography with access to a raised viewing area parallel to the runway. Perfect for shots with a 300mm lens or above.
Great to use as a base for travelling to all the normal vantage spots
The facilities are clean and as described
Friendly staff and campsite was clean and friendly

Small basic site right next to RAF Coningsby, but otherwise remote.
It's about a mile walk on footpaths across fields into the village for shops and pubs.
As noted, the site says take your rubbish away and bring your own loo roll - the single toilet shed looks daunting, but it's not that bad inside.
Simple and cheap but satisfactory.

Easily found from the directions.
Dawn responded well and was very friendly. Arranged the pitch nearest the entrance as we were concerned that due to the fact we had had torrential downpours and our van is very heavy we would potentially bog down but land appears well drained.
Rustic site and well spaced clear pitches, very quiet despite there being children on site.
Only negative was that no one seemed to know where any dustbins were so we had to take our rubbish away with us.
We didn’t use bathroom facilities but they were well used by the tent campers.
In all, a pleasant, quiet stay and would thoroughly recommend, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Great site for plane spotters with loads of places to visit in the surrounding areas,
We have just returned from a really good break away and we will return (already booked)
Our pitch was fairly level and in a good position on the site,
The site itself is very quite apart from when the planes are flying next door, but that's the main attraction so no problems or complaints there,
It just has basic facilities as in a loo, fresh water and an elsen point, there is a great farm shop just down the road,
Only one downside which did not bother us but there is no waste bins, if you do need to get rid of some household waste then there is recycling few mins drive away,

Great simple site, running water and a loo perfect for a few nights away.
Love the RAF base next door and the viewing from the site.
Shall be returning for this reason too.
