This is a beautifully maintained site with lovely owners.
Angus and Julie were very welcoming.
The pitches are Spacious and the site is peaceful.
It is located just off A9, however there was very little traffic noise.
There is a lovely walk from behind the site.

A very nice site, direct access from the A9, so there is some traffic noise, but it dies down at night.
A friendly owner who comes out to meet you, points out everything and then leaves you alone, but is on hand if needed. £20 per night which is usual now, especially as it's on the NC500 route.
It has free wifi.
Tain is a few miles away, has an Asda (first turn right in the town), but is a typical Scottish town with not much to see. It's only village sized really. Dornoch Firth is nothing special.
The best things are the village of Portmahomack and Tarbet Ness lighthouse, a lovely fishing village and beautiful coastal scenery with footpaths. We would use the site again if in the area.

Fabulous campsite, only stayed one night.
Daughter loved the dog play park.
Fabulous hosts, well worth a stop over.
Close to supermarket which was handy for toilet dash when there are 6 of you in a motorhome!

Lovely, tranquil setting with a truly lovely lady running the site.
Met some nice people here and the site itself is fresh and clean.
Thank you for your hospitality.
