We like the terraced stepped layout so that the pitches are level but each one slightly elevated above the other as you go up the field, which helps give each pitch an open view over north bay Scarborough and onto Filey Brigg, Bempton cliffs and Flamborough head.
Toilet shower facilities are in a cargo container, basic, not overly impressive.
Outdoor kitchen sink.
The site bins both full overflowing so fetched our rubbish home.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hulleys this summer. The campsite has spectacular views over the sea and Scarborough, and you can even see Scarborough castle. While we were away we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather as there was a heatwave at the time.
Fellow campers were very friendly, and the campsite owner came round to check that everyone was happy, which was really nice.
The facilities were clean and fine for us, although there were a couple of occasions when we had to queue to use the showers. There were two female toilets and one female shower. There was two male toilets, two urinals, and one male shower.
There was also a tap with drinking water, a washing up sink for pots and pans, and a dustbin. So everything that you needed really. I think this could be made better if a couple more showers were put in. Also, the female shower in particular was very small and a bit of a squish to get in!
For the first couple of nights the campsite was lovely and quiet as it only had couples and single people. Then on the third and fourth night a large group decended with several noisy children.
The children were playing football and very noisy games. On one occasion a child kicked a ball which hit the car belonging to the neighbouring tent. I think the issue was that there wasn't really the space for large groups especially those with lots of children.
Overall we had a really lovely stay at the Hulleys, and we were sad to go and leave that beautiful view! We would definitely stay there again, and we would recommend it to others.
