Lovely little pop up site, Andre keeps the place clean and tidy, he’s a friendly guy and knows good walks etc.
On quiet nights you can pick a pitch but in busy times he puts your pitch number on the board.
The site is very close to a pub which serves Sunday lunch and a farm shop and cafe over the road.
The shower is an experience but does what it needs to!

Jeans field is a fantastic, peaceful, well set up spot, we stayed 2 nights with our dog Blue.
The whole site including the Portaloo's and tent shower were spotless.
Andrew could not be more helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the local and surrounding area.
Lovely cafe and farm shop across the road and a pub with a great beer garden a 2 minute walk away.
Fantastic walks from the site.
We will definitely be back.

Jeans field is great - basic, - just 2 clean portaloos (cleaned each day) and water tap. Unfortunately these facilities are at the wet end of the field which was not available for tents due to excessive Yorkshire rain, but it's easy to phone Andrew, turn up and setup in good sized, level, pitches.
Andrew is very helpful and visits usually twice a day. Views from the top end of the site are good though not spectacular but there are very good walks and cycle rides direct from the site.
Being so close to houses is unusual for a camp site (I wonder what they think of us!) but does give a sense of security.
During our time only one of the loos had a basin. Farm shop and cafe across the main road.
Fair value at £20pn (there were 2 of us)

Loved this campsite, so easy to just turn up to and pitch up. Super peaceful, but close enough to other houses that I felt safe as a solo camper.
Beautiful walk along a ridge with stunning views to be enjoyed, directly from the campsite.
Basic facilities (I. E. Just a portaloo) but fine for a night or two.
